When the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray, they had come to the realization that what they had practiced all their life was dry, powerless and empty ritual. What they had seen Jesus doing was definitely different! Jesus was not only energized by his prayer times he was filled with joy! (Luke 10:21)
