Letter to the FRO Fam

Dear Church Family,

As you know we have been working hard as a community of faith to do our part in the fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic. Things are changing daily so even since last Sunday we have had to reassess our plans to be a praying army during this time. The governor has since lowered the number of assemblies to 50 [Proclamation 20-14 reduction of statewide limits on gatherings] And the President and the CDC recommend groups of 10 or less.  Also while adhering to all hygiene policies and social distancing. So as of today March 18th 2020, here is what we are planning.
Thursday Night Service (6:30pm) – we will meet and divide into groups of ten as people arrive. We will locate in different area’s of the building in order to maintain social distancing. each group will have a leader and be it’s own small group. The format will be mostly prayer. This is what we are called to do at a time like this – PRAY! We will make a difference and throw this virus into the sea.
Sunday 1:00pm Service – If you have a computer (or phone) with the capacity to watch video’s on YouTube, we are asking you to stay home and live stream the service. We are busy working on this ability so hopefully this link will work by 1:00 on Sunday…

If you don’t have the capacity to be part of the live stream we will divide people into groups of ten as they arrive and spread out through the building (we have a closed circuit system in the fellowship hall). Remember we will be adhering to all social distancing recommendations and both LGM and FRO have been vigorously disinfecting all surfaces after every gathering.
Thank you for your love for each other and your commitment to put your faith to work in worship and prayer during this time! If part of your worship is tithing you can still do that giving online at freedomriver.net or mailing a check to Freedom River Outreach, PO Box 44896 Tacoma WA 98448.
We don’t know how long these measure will stay in pace – but the better we can comply will be the best way to shorten the duration. This will pass and life will get back to somewhat normal, but remember to care for each other and if you have any symptoms please call us for prayer: 253-442-2040.
Love and gratefulness to be part of the FRO team! – Pastor Jon
