COVID-19 Updated plan for Prayer and Worship
If you are reading this I hope you understand prayer and worship will never be cancelled and will never end! Our God is victorious!
So what this is about is the plan for the body of Christ that meets at FRO in response to the pandemic and the governors proclamation as well as the CDC’s recommendations. This may change at any time, so the points laid out below are for Sunday March 22 and until further notice. Please keep checking the web site freedomriver.net for updates.
#1 If you are showing any symptoms stay home and call us for prayer at 253-442-2040.
#2 If you have the ability to watch the service online please stay home and do so freedomriver.net Live Worship. Some people have found it easier to go directly to YouTube and search for Freedom River Outreach Live Steam. We will be starting at our usual time 1:00pm Sunday
#3 Because of the social distancing requirements there will be no child care. Also we can’t have more than 50 people in the whole building.
#4 I have been asked about giving, (God’s people are amazing!) you can still do that in a couple of ways. Online at freedomriver.net donate. This will require a credit card, we are working on a better system for this other than Paypal and it should be up soon. The second option is by mailing a check to: Freedom River Outreach, PO Box 44896, Tacoma WA 98448. We are praying that God will provide for us all through His faithfulness!
#5 This is the most important (even though it’s listed last) We as a community of faith are called to pray and worship our savior Jesus Christ no matter what is going on in society! Please do this! You can use our online services as a time you have already set apart for this.
Pray for God’s healing: Jer 17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.
Pray for God’s provision: Luke 12:23–24 (ESV) For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. 24 Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!
