Why We Celebrate Advent
Advent is celebrated the four Sundays before Christmas. This Sunday November 29th 2015 will be our first Sunday of Advent. This is not meant to stress anyone out that the Christmas season is upon us! Actually it’s meant to do just the opposite. We want to focus on the anticipation of Jesus returning! Anticipation can be fun, right! Especially if you are anticipating something as awesomely great as Jesus and His second coming! Christmas tradition is the celebration of the Nativity; Christ’s first coming. As amazing as that was- it is half the story. I think we can all agree that we need to stay focused on Jesus this Christmas season.
