I found a new favorite verse for our Easter Service. It is talking about the “WHY” Jesus went to the cross!
Heb 10:19 And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. 20 By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. 21 And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, 22 let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.
My grandson Mateo and I enjoy making up riddles that involve being in a locked room with only certain tools and then figuring how do you get out? When it’s his turn to make up the riddle; besides the ax, screw driver, chain saw, and various other less use-full tools he included a ‘portal’. Well I just choose to use the portal!
Jesus created a portal for us to enter in to the presence of God! It’s available to you! Take advantage of it! If you would like help come and receive prayer that will restore your heart and take you right into the presence of God! (Heb 10:22). – Pastor Jon
