Ladies Event – Rock Painting, by Galiya
August is the month of encouragement at FRO. As we learn the power and hope our words can bring, we would like to continue this theme at our next ladies gathering. September 9th we will have a rock painting party. You don’t have to be an artist or have experience in drawing or painting. You can learn from some of our “professional” rock painters who are part of Tacoma Jesus Rocks group.
Rock painting has become a way not only to discover your inner creativity or join the group of other talented people but mainly a way to send an encouraging message to a lucky stranger who is looking or not, to find these hidden gems.
So we will gather to fellowship, create, pray and of course have coffee and yummy cupcakes. We will pray over our rocks for God to use them as a message of His love, hope and healing
What a fun event! I learned so much about painting and even discovered more about God’s gifts that he has bestowed on me. So blessed by being there.
