Son of Encouragment
I came across this verse in my bible reading today – Acts 11:24
Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and strong in faith. And many people were brought to the Lord.
Maybe you have heard of Barnabas but he is usually talked about in relationship to Paul’s ministry. Here we read that many people were brought to the Lord by Barnabas! Yes he encouraged Paul but he ALSO was a ‘good man’ and ‘full of the Holy Spirit’! We all need to be more like Barnabas, a “son of encouragement”.
